Step 6 — Still having symptoms?

Time to revisit that symptoms list. Are you still having symptoms? Are they affecting your life as much as they used to? The workbook includes another survey form that will get you thinking about how your hypoglycemia is affecting you now. You can also use the results of this survey to decide whether to continue to Step 7.

Step 7 – Find the hidden sugars

If you are still having symptoms, you will need to remove the hidden sugars from your diet. You already know many of the sweet foods you should be avoiding―Step 7 will teach you how to read labels and identify the hidden sugars that appear in so many of the foods we find at the grocery store.

Step 8 – One more check

You have made it through Steps 1-7, and you have probably seen a marked improvement in your hypoglycemia symptoms. After completing this symptoms checklist, put it beside your checklist from Step 1. You will be surprised by how much your life has changed!
